Pioneered by the French Physician Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952, Mesotherapy is a non-surgical, relatively painless injection procedure that is used worldwide to treat a broad range of conditions.
This medical specialty specifically targets areas with micro injections of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, conventional medications and homeopathic preparations. These micro-injections are delivered directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) to promote the body’s circulatory, lymphatic and immune systems to create a biological response and reverse abnormal physiology.
Mesotherapy was recognized by the French National Academy of Medicine in 1986 as an integral part of traditional medicine.
Today over 25,000+ physicians worldwide today use Mesotherapy to treat patients for:
Pain Management in Neck, Back, Hip, Shoulder, Hand/Foot

Our Procedures
MesoLift/Skin Rejuvenation
Mesotherapy is a safe, natural alternative to invasive cosmetic procedures. The Mesolift process delivers vitamins, minerals, amino acids, botanical medicines and homeopathic preparations directly into the skin to nourish and rejuvenate, promote production of collagen and elastin, and stimulate your metabolism. As your skin ages, circulation decreases resulting in reduction of oxygen and nutrients and toxic build-up in the skin. This is what drives premature aging and causes the skin to develop a drawn appearance.
After treatment, patients commonly describe their skin as looking rested, radiant, glowing, and firm. Mesotherapy can be used as a supplement or an alternative to many anti-aging regimes including: Botox, laser resurfacing, peels, facelifts, and topical creams.
Mesotherapy is a highly effective rejuvenating treatment that can be used to tone and tighten sagging skin on the neck, legs, abdomen, arms and hands. In Europe, women often start treatments in their 30’s, but Mesotherapy can be valuable in any stage of a person’s life!
Body Sculpting
Mesotherapy is a procedure used for body sculpting to reduce, eliminate, and contour specific undesired fat pockets. This method targets the receptors on fat cells the engage in lipogenesis (fat production) and lipolysis (fat breakdown). Receptors that break down fat are known as beta receptors while those that create fat are alpha receptors. For example, alpha receptors are stimulated to produce fat when you ingest foods containing carbohydrates, fat, amino acids, hormones or alcohol.
A medical history and physical examination is required prior to receiving treatment for body sculpting. Based on individual requirements, the doctor selects a specific formula consisting of several medications that block alpha receptors and stimulate beta receptors. Once injected into the skin, the formula slowly diffuses into the fat and breaks it down. The number of body sculpting treatments required varies according to the individual.
Mesotherapy is a non-invasive alternative supported by a 1994-95 study on “topical fat reduction” by UCLA researchers. This study concluded women who had Mesotherapy injection lost weight even without diet or exercise. About 100 people a year die because of liposuction, Mesotherapy has no deaths, strokes, or heart attacks. A patient’s major concern with Mesotherapy is simple bruising and liver toxicity (depending on the injected medications).

Sport Injuries
Mesotherapy is a local injection of medication into the mesoderm as close to the site of injury as possible. It is used primarily for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and muscle-relaxing effects. The procedure can be further enhanced by utilizing specific acupuncture points to promote faster and more effective healing. The points chosen for the actual delivery of the medication are based on classic acupuncture points or Ashi points, segmental points, localizing the treatment specifically related to a particular area of the body, and symptomatic points are where patients experience pain. The frequency of therapy is once or twice a week for a duration of three to four sessions. By the end of three to four sessions, therapeutic effectiveness is revealed. The best results are usually reported between the second and third sessions. A healing crisis may occur where the area treatment may become inflamed as the body attempts to find order. As a result, patients may experience an exacerbation of their symptoms.
In sports medicine, mesotherapy can be beneficial in helping athletes return to their training at the earliest opportunity. Sports related trauma is often implicated in the treatment of soft tissue injuries. In most cases, the congestive and inflammatory reaction of these tissues before healing can occur justifies taking pain-killing and anti-inflammatory medication.
The physician must not ignore the possibility of recurring traumatism, which means that repeated doses of medication will be needed and can be a cause of concern to the prescribing doctor.

How fast will the patient see results?
The speed of results depends on the area treated and the extent of the problem. Cellulite and fat should show visible improvement after 2-4 treatments. MesoLift procedures show visible results within 1-2 days after the first treatment. Pain Management procedures can give relief as soon as the first treatment.

The effect of most procedures, although long-lasting, does fade with time. Therefore, maintenance treatment is recommended depending on individual results most patients require approximately one session a month. Restrictions vary depending on the condition being treated. We discuss these with each patient before treatments commence. In general, patients are advised not to wear make-up for at least 4 hours after facial treatments, not to take hot showers for at least 6-8 hours. We recommend that patients eat a high-protein meal, avoid blood-thinning medication such as aspirin, or stimulations such as caffeine before treatment.
Does mesotherapy replace liposuction?
In many cases mesotherapy offers an alternative to even the safest form of liposuction, tumescent liposuction. Tumescent liposuction has been recognized world-wide as the technique permitting the greatest safety, the most rapid recovery, the least pain, and the best aesthetic results. While tumescent liposuction offers superior safety and result, its’ important to remember tumescent liposuction can only be handled by the hands of an expert surgeon.
